I have learned so much from Tina: the value of cycling macro phases (deficits, maintenance), that there is a time for strict adherence and there is a time for flexibility - I’ve learned that giving my mind and body a break from dieting is just as important as the deficit phase. I’ve learned to give myself grace and that a moment of “messing up” does not need to detail my entire day or week. I’ve also really fallen in love with choosing myself and prioritizing my health. I used to dread going to the gym and making food to eat at home, but my mindset has shifted to where I now view it as a privilege and self care to go to the gym and to cook healthy meals at home.
